Complete Dentures

Perfect dentures provide a perfect smile. This patient is very happy with her dentures from Dr. Manduzzi!

A complete denture is sometimes referred to as a plate. It is a means to replace the teeth for someone who has an entire upper and/or lower arch of teeth missing. It is estimated that more than 30 million Americans are missing all of their teeth. Complete dentures can allow patients who have lost their teeth to smile and chew again with confidence!

Partial Dentures

Whereas a complete denture replaces all of the teeth in an upper or lower arch, a partial denture functions to replace specific missing teeth when other teeth in that same arch are present. A partial denture can range from replacing a single tooth to multiple missing teeth in the same arch. This can allow you to fill in gaps in your smile to smile and chew again with confidence.

Partial dentures can be made in one of two ways: they can be completely metal-free and made of a flexible acrylic material, or they can have a strong metallic base, covered with acrylic to match the shade of your gums. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Dr. Manduzzi will help you determine which is right for you.
